The renewal you forgot is the one that costs you the job

Public liability lapses, a certificate expires, the van lease rolls over at a new price. None of them are urgent until the day they are, and by then you are off a framework or standing on a site you are not insured for. These are kept with dates on them and warned about with enough notice to do something.

What it does

What can I keep a renewal date against?

Insurance policies, certificates and qualifications, and standing costs like a unit rent or a vehicle lease. Anything with a date that matters and a consequence for missing it, kept in the same place as the rest of the business rather than in a diary nobody opens.

When am I told?

Before it lapses, with enough notice to ring a broker or book an assessment — not on the morning it has already gone. A warning that arrives the day something expires is a notification rather than a reminder, and the difference is whether you can do anything about it.

Where does the reminder appear?

On the dashboard where you already are, rather than only in an email. An alert that lives in an inbox is an alert that competes with everything else in that inbox; one on the page you open every morning is read.

Does it get in the way?

It is deliberately prominent, which is a trade-off we made on purpose: an insurance reminder that was easy to scroll past would not be doing its job. You can dismiss it once you have dealt with it, and dismissing it is recorded so it does not quietly come back the next morning.

Are standing costs counted in what the business spends?

Yes. A unit rent, a lease, a policy paid yearly — they are part of what the work has to cover before anything is profit, and they feed the costs picture rather than sitting in a separate list of dates.

What it does not do

Worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on it rather than after.

It does not buy or renew anything for you, and there is no broker integration. It tells you in time; the phone call is yours.

It does not check whether a certificate is genuine or current with the issuing body. It holds the date you entered.

There is no document expiry scanning. If you upload a certificate, it does not read the date off it — you type it.

Questions, answered

Can I get a reminder before my public liability insurance expires?

Yes. Policies are kept with their renewal date and warned about with enough notice to ring a broker, on the dashboard rather than only by email.

Does it renew the policy for me?

No. It tells you in time and keeps the date; buying or renewing anything is still yours to do.

Can I dismiss a reminder once I have dealt with it?

Yes, and the dismissal is recorded so it does not reappear the next morning.

What does it cost?

£29.99 a month for the whole business — every feature, every person, no add-ons and no per-user pricing. 60 days free and no card to start.
