Change how your business works

Everything you answered during setup lives in Settings under How you work, and you can change any of it at any time. This is where you turn telephone and online appointments on, change what you call your team, and set your service radius.

Step by step

   Open Settings from the cog at the top right.

   Find the How you work card.

   Tick what you sell: quoted work, appointments at a set fee, or both.

   You must leave at least one ticked, or there is nothing to sell.

   Choose where your work physically happens: out to the customer, or at your own premises.

   Leave “Some jobs happen at the other one” ticked if it varies, and you get the choice on each quote and job. Untick it if every job is the same and the choice disappears everywhere.

   Under “Do you also work without going anywhere?”, tick telephone appointments, online meetings, or both.

   Whatever you tick is then offered in the dropdown when you raise a quote or book an appointment. Ticking neither leaves things exactly as they were.

   If you tick online meetings, paste your standing video call link.

   Your usual Zoom or Teams room, used for any online booking that has no link of its own. Pasting the whole invitation is fine — we pick the link out of it. Leave it blank if you create a fresh link for each call.

   Set your service radius, if you travel.

   Quoting somebody further away warns you first. Blank means no limit.

   Press Save on that card.
