What your customer sees

The page behind the link you send: accepting, paying a deposit, and picking a time.

What is said in this recording

It is worth knowing what lands on the other end, because it is the part of TaskMyJob your customers actually judge you on. The link is unguessable and needs no login — they do not have to create an account to accept your quote.

Step by step

  1. 1

They open the link and see the quote on your branding.

Your logo, your colour, your contact details, priced the way you sent it.

  2. 2

They accept or decline it there.

Declining asks them why, which comes straight back to you.

  3. 3

If you asked for a deposit, they pay it on the page.

By card. Nothing is held in the diary until it clears.

  4. 4

They pick a time, if you left that to them.

They only ever see slots that actually work — your hours, who is free, and the travel between the jobs already booked that day.

  5. 5

They get a confirmation with the details.

Including a button to add it to their own calendar, and for a video call, a button to join it.

Worth knowing

The page is always live

It renders from your current data, not from a snapshot taken when you sent it. Change the quote and the link shows the change. This is also why an issued invoice's total never moves — the customer may be looking at it.
