The four figures, the list underneath, and where everything else lives.
What is said in this recording

The dashboard is not a summary for its own sake — it is a list of things that want doing today. Four figures across the top, and under them the work that is waiting on somebody. If it is quiet, there is genuinely nothing to chase.

Step by step

  1. 1

Read the four figures across the top.

Open enquiries, quotes waiting on a reply, revenue at risk, and money awaiting payment. Each one clicks through to the list behind it.

  2. 2

Work the “Needs attention” list underneath.

Calls to make, quotes going cold, invoices overdue. It is ordered by what is worth most, not by what happened most recently.

  3. 3

Use the menu along the top for everything else.

Enquiries, Appointments & Quotes, Customers, Jobs, Invoices & Payments. Insights and Business sit under More, along with these guides.

  4. 4

The cog is Settings; your initials are your account.

Settings is everything about the business. Your initials hold these guides, support, and signing out.

  5. 5

Switch business from the name at the top, if you run more than one.

Each keeps its own customers, jobs and books entirely separately.

Worth knowing

Every page has its own guide

Where one exists, a “Help on this page” link sits just under the page title. It opens the guide for what you are looking at, in a new tab, so you can follow it while you work.
